A WOMAN AFTER GOD’S OWN HEART

A WOMAN AFTER GOD’S OWN HEART

Join other women who seek to know and live daily with a heart that reflects Christ by:

·      Pursuing God’s priorities

·      Having a counter-cultural life-style

·      Learning God’s life-changing purposes

·      Mentoring others the “Titus 2 way”

Instructor Jeannie Bargen will use Elizabeth George’s “A Woman After God’s Own Heart” as well as other excellent resources to help you become a right-way woman in a wrong-way world. ROOM E-113

BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT

·         Can Christianity be proven?

·         Was Jesus more than a good teacher?

·         Is the Bible reliable?

These questions have challenged believers for centuries.  Gary Leenders and Jim Vander Sys will lead you through this course that will let you “weigh the evidence” for yourself: the empty tomb, the eyewitnesses, Christ, Scripture, creation, prophesy, archaeology, and changed lives.  ROOM E-114

BROADENING YOUR BIBLICAL HORIZONS:

NEW TESTAMENT SURVEY

This course brings unity and chronological sequence to New Testament study by weaving the contents of the books around a central theme-the person of Christ. Well-known Bible passages will take on new dimensions when seen in the perspective of this sweeping panoramic overview. George McCarthy and Mark Nonhoff will guide students in exploring what the New Testament says with an emphasis on applying the truths to contemporary living. ROOM E-112

LESSONS FROM BIBLE CHARACTERS

“Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition.”

1 Corinthians 10:11

The stories of men and women in the Bible are God’s way of illustrating the wisdom of following His will.  Lou Yost will lead this class in discovering life lessons from the examples of Adam and Eve, David, Daniel, Hannah, Paul and other heroes of the faith.

ROOM E-115

LIVING BY THE BOOK:

BASIC BIBLE STUDY METHODS

How would you describe your personal Bible study?  Difficult? Boring? Non-existent? The “secret” to an enjoyable and profitable study is no secret at all — it is simply practicing effective Bible study methods.  This course in “Living by the Book” will introduce men to a proven plan and useful tools to help them discover God’s truths for themselves and their families.  Dave Dunkin will help students apply and hone their skills on the New Testament book of James.
